The seat for Pike County is scenic Milford. The original Courthouse was constructed in 1815. The present Courthouse was completed in 1874.  Formed in 1814, the county was named for Zebulon Montgomery Pike, discoverer of Pike's Peak and a General killed in the war of 1812.

Susquehanna Software, Inc installed the "Keystone Jury Management System" at the county in 2005 and would like to thank Samantha Johnson and the University of Scranton for their assistance in making Pike County our first site to accept juror questionnaires via the web.
